THING_02

A chair, a place, a balcony really. THING_02 is an elevated platform with a railing around it. Asymmetrical, wider than deep, it fits one or two. The frame is made of galvanized steel, the seat is lava stone (Mount Etna). It’s a space to sit, work, or pause … under the open sky.

Made to order. The delivery time is approx. 5-6 weeks. Price includes custom-made shipping crate.

Intended use
Thing_02 is a chair / elevated seating platform designed as a place to sit, pause, or work. It is suitable for use in indoor and outdoor environments on stable, level surfaces.

Use limitations

  • Designed for seating up to two persons at a time.
  • Not intended as a step, ladder, climbing aid, or support for loads other than normal seating.
  • Do not sit or stand on the railing or use it for climbing.

Safety information

  • Risk of tipping if used on uneven or unstable surfaces.
  • On smooth or wet surfaces, there may be a risk of slipping.
  • Sit centrally on the platform; do not overload one side excessively.
  • Avoid leaning over or beyond the railing in a way that could cause imbalance.
  • Children should only use the product under adult supervision.

Material & environment
Thing_02 is made of galvanized steel tubing and a natural lava stone seat. Galvanized steel and lava stone are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

  • In outdoor conditions, the surface of metal and stone may change over time due to weathering.
  • Lava stone may feel hot in direct sunlight and cold in low temperatures.

Handling & care

  • Lift the product when moving; do not drag.
  • Avoid impacts and excessive force.
  • Clean metal and stone with soft cloth and mild cleaning agents only.
  • For outdoor use, periodic cleaning is recommended to preserve surface appearance.

Use the product only in accordance with its intended purpose.
